Wreck-it Ralph is leaving the movie theaters and entering the world of video store shelves, so we spoke to the film's director Rich Moore about making the movie. Disney released the details about the Blu-Ray/DVD set, which arrives March 5, 2013, following the early digital release set for February 12, 2013. Here's the box art for the pricy Ultimate Collector's Edition, which includes the Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD and digital copy and retails at a hefty $49.99.
Rest assured, for those who don't want to shell out for that one, Disney has a number of other options for the film's home video release. In addition to the digital release (which varies in cost depending on your preferred digital retailer), there's also the 2-disc combo pack and DVD option:

@ Rich Moore On Deleted Scenes & Sequel... ENGLISH…
IGN recently caught up with Wreck-It Ralph director Rich Moore to talk about the film's upcoming Blu-ray release, which features a never before seen animatic depicting one of the story's dropped video game worlds, Extreme EZ Livin' 2. The filmmaker also gave us an update on the sequel and his thoughts on what he'd like to see in a potential followup.
IGN Movies: So I first want to discuss this deleted scene and Extreme EZ Livin' 2. Can you talk a bit about the context of this clip, the Bobby Dunderson character, and how it originally fit into the story?
Rich Moore: Well, Extreme EZ Livin' was this idea that was floated out to Ralph by Bobby Dunderson, who was this kind of ne'er-do-well Hero's Duty character. He told Ralph about this other game that sounded like paradise. It was a place where there were no good guys, no bad guys, just guys -- and girls and sun and surf. It was kind of this Shangri-La where Ralph could forget his troubl

EXTRA C. - Vanellope Von AKB48 Maeda? XD ENGLISH…
Wreck-It Ralph recently opened in Japan, where it’s titled Sugar Rush. Besides enjoying the flick, Japanese moviegoers are doing something else: Comparing the character Vanellope to a real idol.
Namely, Japanese moviegoers are saying Vanellope looks like AKB48 member Ami Maeda. Yes, their eye colour is different, but their eyebrows, hair and facial expressions seem similar, no?
Maeda herself sees the resemblance. “Even today, while walking outside, I was told I looked like Vanellope,” she told Japanese TV. “I said, ‘Oh, thanks!’”
According to Walt Disney Japan, there’s certainly a possibility that Maeda was an influence.
While Sarah Silverman voiced the English version, Disney* seems to have looked to Japanese fashion and anime for Vanellope’s character design. What’s more, AKB48 contributed to the soundtrack, performing the song “Sugar Rush”. So maybe!

@ That Wreckly Fixed Movie Experience... ENGLISH…
I HAD ALL THESE CAKE FEELZ Yep, that was my face during the whole thing…
I finally saw the movie on cinemas, it was practically nobody in there, just me and a bunch of families and a guy who enter later and giggle with all the refs and jokes as me XD! Ralph’s voice in spanish was adorable during the whole thing for me, and make me ignore Vanellope’s ^^u
The Paperman short, DAT ANIMATION OMG… but it was short LOL Yeah XD
Also, many voice actors I recognized them from other works and LOLed, like King Candy who sounded like Marty Mc Fly from Back To The Future, Fix-it Felix Jr. like Rigby from Regular Show (at some point I imaginated him shouting MORDECAAAIII XD), or Tapper’s voice reminding me of DBZ’s Son Goku, it was damn crazy XD

The presumptive frontrunner for the Best Animated Feature Oscar, swept the 40th Annual Annie Awards, which reward the best in animation in both animated and live-action film each year. The Disney production, about a videogame villain looking to turn over a new leaf, took home five prizes!
However, it wasn’t alone in earning accolades, as Brave, ParaNorman and Rise of the Guardians each took home multiple prizes, complicating an already-tight Oscar race for Best Animated Feature.

As many of us know already, except I've never understand the reasons in general matters, Wreck-it Ralph is going to be released on March 13rd at Japan next year, around five months difference from the United States >_>
Another thing that has been bugging and/or amusing some people is the change of the movie title there to Sugar Rush -シュガー・ラッシュ- and moving the focus to Vanellope Von Sweetz...
So far, I agree with the idea of being something that serves to promote the movie in a way that's apparently attractive for that public (that's what I read around Internet, with an established explanation of japanese culture feeling cute things more likely, I honestly dunno what to think about that ^^u), as much as Disney made with Tangled movie focusing more on Flynn Rider's character, or to quote a proper example

EXTRA CREDIT - Tapper's Caricatures... ENGLISH…
When Ralph goes to Tappers bar and runs into the Hero's Duty soldier for the first time, John Musker and I did those caricatures of game celebrities on the wall.
The idea was to have it replicate the feel of a famous New York restaurant called Sardi's, where the walls are lined with caricatures of celebrities.

It was a matter of time, I wasn’t sure about it… but at the end, here’s our first contest!

~ THE PREPOSITION...

It may not seem that Felix and Calhoun were made for each other at first, but love is unpredictable, and not just coded after all…
Simply answer through a drawing or fiction the following question:
How do you think these Hero’s Cuties spent their first Valentine’s Day?

~ THE RULES...

Only Members can submit;

The entry must be a new piece, and must be submitted in DeviantART;

The piece must be so far PG-13 rated, non explicit mature content.

Calhoun and Felix must be the focus of the whole thing, ergo appear indefectibly on the pic/fic;

You can include characters and/or settings from any of the original games displayed in the movie;
cameos can also be included, but don’t make them more relevant than the hero’s cuties themselves ^^u

In case of pics submitting,
it must be done entirely by yourself, with no use at all of official artwork;

After only a couple months of marriage, Felix was having a hard time deciding where he would take the love of his life Sgt. Callhoun to. Callhoun was one ‘Dynamite Girl’, and Felix already learned she wasn’t like any of those upper class gals he was adjusted to living in the penthouse in ‘Wreck-It Ralph.’
He paced back and forth in the complex frantically, hoping he could make this Valentine’s Day romantic and fun at the same time. Sure Callhoun loved romantic walks on the beach and wine and candlelight. But she also loved a good gun battle and a good fight where there was one.

The Good Wario

Boxes of candy, flowers, jewelry, experiences. The basic gifts of Valentine’s Day. Felix wanted to something for his wife, but he didn’t want to be standard. It was hard to think, and harder still since he and his wife were video-game characters.

Fix-It Felix Jr. is the protagonist and namesake of his game. It was his job to fix the building that the antagonist, Wreck-It Ralph, destroyed. To a player, these two would seem to be worst enemies, but they were very good friends.

Sergeant Tamora Jean Calhoun is the leader of a space marine platoon in a game called Hero’s Duty. It was her
